Today I’m going to start my first ever real challenge, which is to get wild on getting conversions with the offers I promote. I will use one of my unused .COM domains in order to start putting fire to my charcoals on my stove and let it rip up! I have been thinking about this for a long time and I take no action of it due to my stressful freelance task from my client.
Today it’s the perfect opportunity for me to do full-time with this, and I’m going to re-invent myself. I’m going to use what I have learned from the past on internet and affiliate marketing, and this is going to be great. My goal for this challenge is to get a great amount of leads for my simple landing page, but with multiple offers to click on! Last night I decide to quit my job because it is so stressful and I only have less time on internet marketing (but still I respect my client even if I quit and didn’t pay me at all). Now here’s my first challenge that I need to set up and accomplish on my own.
I’m planning to setup a simple landing page that no one has ever done this before in my sub-domain. Even it is simple, this is a real trick that was not been used in my website. Creating landing pages using CSS or HTML can take you time, or even in WordPress theme which has sidebars and footers on it, which is not appropriate for me. I use WordPress for both my domain and sub-domains, and what I did is that I have one simple theme which is truly designed for squeeze page purposes only. I didn’t bought this theme, I downloaded it from the “I don’t know” source for free. When I activated this theme, there is a menu on the left sidebar which I’m about to create my own squeeze page.
Squeeze page? I thought you have no Aweber?
Yes, I don’t have Aweber because of financial problems. I will not use this as a squeeze page, but rather something else which I made a trick for myself. But the only clue that I will tell you that this will be only a simple but tricky landing page with the affiliate links on it. I practice this simple trick for myself a couple of months ago, but not taking action of it. We’ll then, this is it for me.
After I finished the whole landing page on both my domain and sub-domain, I go to Google Keyword External Tool to find low competitive keywords and huge monthly global and local volume searches using my domain for the landing page. I was amazed that this tool automatically detects what content do I have on my landing page and it matches the list of keywords I expect. There are 100 results on my domain’s landing page and I decide to download them all in one CSV file (I changed it to XLS). I mark green for those keywords with low and “low-medium” competition, while I mark red for those keywords with “medium-high” and high competition base on competition rate by decimal. Now I have the landing page ready and the keywords to be used for backlink building, I’m ready to gear up for backlink building.
How am I suppose to gear up for this?
In order to start getting a lot of conversions from my affiliate offers, I need to build quality backlinks first. The more backlinks I have, the more traffic and revenue I get from the visitors. But I just make sure that when I generate backlinks, it must be niche-related and with good quality as well. I might prefer listing this domain to DMOZ and other high quality web directories, but I believe that building backlinks with content is KING!
Content is always king!
Yeah that’s right, pal! You’re holding bucks that I always sniffed. Backlinks with content will give me good quality conversions. Creating high quality content on Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo and Hubpages is a plus for me, as long the design, structure and content are quite appealing for the readers. Participating in niche forums, blogs, Yahoo Answers will be good options for me to make money, as long this is relevant to my tricky landing page. I just need to get addicted on this in order to receive huge amount of potential traffic from visitors.
So I think this is my first challenge for now, and I’m going for it like a real addict. I will update you guys soon about my progress on this first challenge.

Good luck on your first challenge and keep us posted!!! Everyone can learn from experience!
