Affiliate Marketing 101: Mastering One Traffic Source

One of the common problems for various affiliate marketers today is how to get targeted and converting traffic to their sites. This is one big reason that most affiliate marketers failed on their careers, because they shift from one traffic source to another….without mastering them first. This is what I have learned in the past few months as an affiliate marketing addict, which I don’t focus on one source that can bring me traffic and potential sales to the products I promote.

Why do we need to master one traffic source first?

I understand that there are still some affiliate and internet marketers who are buying eBook after ebook….after eBook without taking action and mastering them first. In other words, when things don’t work they shift again to another eBook that contains another new method. I was one of them, which I bought eBook after eBook without taking serious of it..until I’ve finally done it for my niche sites and services that I resell to clients. It really worked for me this time, but not yet satisfied of the expectations that should meet for me. The reason we need to master one traffic source for our affiliate sites because…as we continue to do that for a long time…we can finally get out of the difficulties and struggles we have in the past. For example, one of the most common ways to gain traffic to your site is SEO (search engine optimization). If you are serious about that, you need to study hard and take it into action.

Study hard? Is it going to consume a lot?

We’ll, just like we are studying our lessons from elementary to college, or learning the style moves of “Tai Chi” , or playing a game like Heroes of  Newerth, it really consumes a lot until you master them. But overall, it’s going to be worth once you learn and finally master the world of search engine optimization. My good ol’ pal Daniel Lew is also having the same experience when he was young, he learned more about search engine optimization until he mastered it through his efforts, which results for him to create a SEO community called GSEO.net. As we master one traffic source, benefits will always come and we expect that our plan to take action will get us results. Right now, I’m trying to master a free traffic source that could give me results and potential sales from the products I promote. Failed campaigns from one traffic source is pretty normal, as we still adjust and scale things up a bit till we get there.

A lesson to all affiliate marketers: If you fail from one traffic source, don’t shift immediately. Try again until you master it.

Cowboy Millionaire Official Launch Is Just Days Away!

It’s getting closer guys! I’m very excited of my good ol’ pal Daniel Lew and his partner Soren Jorgensen that the official launch of Cowboy Millionaire will be on October 3rd, and it’s just days away! Woohoo! This is something that all levels of affiliate and internet marketers need which is to build high quality websites in a matter of minutes. There are some custom features that we have never seen before, never been implemented in any of the existing Clickbank products today. After Daniel Lew’s success with SEO Revenge, GSEO and Keyword Winner Premium SEO WordPress plugin, this one is going to be big.

A big hell yeah!

And guess what guys, I will create my own video promoting Daniel Lew and Soren Jorgensen’s Cowboy Millionaire software. This is something that my hopes of gaining success with affiliate marketing will finally come true. I was truly amazed about the intro video shown right now in their pre-launch page (especially “The Cowboy” himself). I believe that this product is going to bring everything that will change our lives as an affiliate and internet marketer.

Ride em’ cowboy!

I bet that there will be lots of hidden surprises that both Daniel and Soren has in store. I’ve been a good friend of Daniel, and I am happy for his success as well as my own. He’s the reason that I still have enough strength to live up my dreams as an affiliate marketer, and I wanna be like them you know?

So get ready cowboys! It’s time to ride that God damn horse and prepare for the grand launch on October 3rd! Yeehah!

Is It Difficult For Affiliates To Promote A Product?

As of today, there are so many affiliate marketers who find it difficult to promote any product that is related to their niche. Like me of course, affiliate marketing is not an easy thing to do. What makes you think that promoting products and services are very difficult? Let me tell you something about my experience of promoting affiliate products to few customers months ago. I’m promoting Clickbank products like Google Sniper 2.0, SEO Revenge, Magic Article Rewriter and Spinner through building micro niche sites for them. I’ve optimized them properly and they’re not getting too much keywords within the content. So far I tried it with SEO only, and good thing I get tons of traffic. But in the end, I realize that traffic was not good enough for me to gain revenue with my micro niche websites. In that time, I only earned below $100 on Clickbank for the past six months and it’s not good. What really lacked for me is to build more backlinks and list to my own websites which I don’t have time due to my client’s tasks.

Play smart, not hard!

This is what I’m really lacking as an affiliate marketer during that time, I worked hard for these sites but not smart. Damn!!!! I should realized that before which causes me to earn just few sales per two to three months. Speaking about these niche sites, Daniel Lew and Soren Jorgensen has an upcoming software called Cowboy Millionaire, which is perfect for newbies and pros to build niche websites in a fast way. I really can’t wait for the upcoming launch because it could be my turning point of gaining profits with niche websites. But still, even if I build websites using Cowboy Millionaire, it’s really hard and time-consuming to promote and build traffic in a traditional way.

Yeah it’s tough, very very tough!

They might be tough or difficult but worth it after seeing results for months. I know that there are so many affiliates and CPA marketers who are desperate to make money in a short amount of time. Push button softwares are not going to make a living, mostly they’re misleading you to change your life. As an affiliate and internet marketer, you need to work “hard” and smart on promoting any affiliate product that is related to your niche. I have seen many of these marketers are successful due to their “smart” way of promoting products and services, so we do the same. No matter if it’s difficult to promote, we have no choice but to go for it until we are in the other side of the fence.

Forum Posting: One of The Most Boring Ways To Market Your Product

Did you know that link building is one of the reasons that our websites or blogs are gaining enough traffic and search engine rankings on Google? Without traffic, our websites or blogs are probably dead by now. There are two kinds of traffic that we’re going to rely on…the free way and the paid way. But today, I am going to talk about one of the most boring ways to market our products or to build backlinks with any website or blog, and it is called forum posting. We’ll, I understand that we still need to build links in various forums because they were treated as a community source. This is where most members are discussing anything related to the forum’s niche. They can start a related topic while other members are gonna reply to their topics as well. With online forums, it is going to be a big help for them in case they have problems. But for now, most website or blog owners are beginning to promote themselves by adding a signature to their profile. When we have a signature, our link and anchor text appears every time we create a new post. It will appear below our own post whether if its a thread or comment.

Why is this boring to me?

We’ll, this was considered as a tedious task that I need to post more threads and replies to gain more traffic to my websites or blogs. Of course, we don’t like to post useless and irrelevant topics that doesn’t give value to other members. As forum members, we should always give value to our members on what they are looking for. I have already experienced lots of forum posting job from various clients, and it’s quite a tedious task. It took me around 3 to 5 hours a day to finish all of these jobs, especially if I’m going to promote my own blog or website. But overall, I still find it useful which I did gain some sales with relevant forums.

Quite boring but very useful…

We’ll for me, forum posting is still worth it. I still gain some clients, affiliate sales and even few leads for doing it. For those who are new to forum link building, it is a challenge for you on building backlinks to your website or blog. As long you give value and abide by their rules, there’s no problem that you can make a living with forum posting. You can easily turn them into customers as long you give them what they’re looking for. Marketing is kinda tough you know, especially when it comes to dealing with forum members.

Ezine Articles: Platinum Status Mission Unaccomplished

It’s been a long time since I haven’t posted my update on my Platinum status mission on Ezine Articles directory. So far, I have submitted quality articles until I’ve reached the limit. As I was notified by Ezine Articles about my status, gues what…I’m very frustrated!! Although all of my articles were approved with no further mistakes, they want me to do additional 10 more quality submissions and didn’t upgrade me to Platinum status. As a result, I still don’t have further business with my long term client. Hours ago, I have emailed him that I was not yet upgraded to Platinum status. The advantage of being Platinum Author on Ezine Articles is that you can submit unlimited articles and fast approval time. But for those who are still under Basic or Basic Plus status, the approval process will be up to 7 days. This is where I claimed that me and my client will part ways after a year of providing link building services to him. But I usually thanked him for sticking with me for at least more than one year, but in this situation it’s time for him to search quality service providers that are better than me.

So what’s next for me?

We’ll, I usually don’t give up to any challenge. If you have read about my previous tutorial on how to make money online within 24 hours or less, that’s what I’m doing now. As an affiliate and internet marketer, I’m not backing down if my big time client part ways with me. I do have an option for him which I can submit articles through Suite 101 or Infobarrel, but it seems that he’s not really interested about it. But at least with my submitted articles, I can usually gain extra backlinks for my gaming niche blog (which I always play it in our gaming shop when I’m bored). The good news for me is that on October 3, my good ol’ friend Daniel Lew and his partner Soren Jorgensen will have their Cowboy Millionaire official launch and I can’t wait to use it. For now, I’m going to be positive and never give up on any challenge awaits me…especially when Ezine Articles pisses me off!

Negros Bloggers Seminar Event At SM City Event Centre

Weekdays have passed, and say hello to weekend! Today, I have decided to spend my time reuniting with the Negros Bloggers members at the SM City Event Centre. The Negros Bloggers have planned to conduct a seminar for those who want to learn what blogging is all about. This event runs from 10 AM to 12 noon today. You know what, I’m writing this blog post while the event is ongoing. The speakers of this event were professional bloggers in different niches. The speakers were Enrico Dee (Byahilo.com) and Lloyd Tronco (Talonggo.blogspot.com). The speakers gave the audience some introduction about blogging, SEO (search engine optimization) and how to earn money with their blogs. It is quite easy for all of us to start blogging by creating a free blog. Enrico Dee recommends new bloggers to start with Blogspot. Blogspot was owned by Google and it can easily be crawled into their search engine. He also mentioned that passion is the biggest strength As you continue to give great value to the visitors, the more benefits you are going to receive from them. As for Lloyd Tronco, he has a family business called Tronco Advertising and was one of the certified digital marketers in the Philippines. His main discussion is why Visayans should start blogging for themselves. I even see the reporter and cameraman from a local channel called MY TV13 Channel which they were going to interview us after the seminar is over.

Am I satisfied with the new Negros Bloggers logo?

We’ll, I’m quite satisfied with the logo. Although I’m preferring to the orange NB logo, but I think they made the right decision to choose the red logo with the heart and “Alibata” thing. With this logo, it may become attractive to those who are not yet familiar with the Negros Bloggers group. For sure, there’s a great chance that new bloggers may join our group.

Am I having a great time with the Negros Bloggers?

We’ll I do had a great time with them because I want to spend my time off for a few hours in our family business. I have seen a lot of new faces here (both young and old) who are not yet familiar about blogging. But it seems that they were pretty interested to start blogging and they even ask questions in case something’s not clear. In our province, we only have a very tiny percentage of people who knows how to blog.  With this event created by the Negros Bloggers, it gives us a chance that our members will increase gradually. I would like to thank the Negros Bloggers for creating this special event that opens a new challenge for the newcomers. It was all worth it and I expect that it will spread throughout Negros province and the rest of the areas.

A New Theme Is A New Beginning For My Blog

Everybody knows that when it comes to change things, it is already considered as a new beginning. This is why I have decided to change my theme and slogan for my blog. I already said goodbye to my old Studio Blue theme…and hello to SEOptimus theme!!! And also I have changed my slogan from “Affiliate Marketing Addict” to “Affiliate Addict Even at Midnight”.

Do I still have to do affiliate marketing at midnight?

If I had a dream to make money online with affiliate marketing, I would rather dedicate my time to become a future super affiliate. For the past few months, I have been inactive on updating my own blog due to several projects that I handle. As a result, it’s where I earn money from my long-term and new clients today. This is the reason I’m always busy with these projects and I only have little time with other stuffs. But I kept on researching other stuffs for making the money work for me. Everybody knows that affiliate marketing is not easy (even traditional way of marketing can be tough you know?), so I find it hard. I got a few sales on Clickbank though, but it’s not good enough for me to be satisfied. I even exploring CPA (cost-per-action) offers from different companies that are converting very well, but I had a tough time doing this. I almost given up on this but one guy from Warrior Forum told me that I should never give up even if I struggle right now. This is how I motivate myself as an affiliate marketer, a blogger and a businessman. We have various family businesses like barber shop, gaming station and rent-a-car. As for me, internet marketing has been the biggest reason why I am happy today…and I am happy to be back blogging again with my very own blog…and it’s a brand new challenge for me to begin.

Does anything work for me now?

Actually I have tested every single method that could make the money work for me, and finally I’ve found it. This is quite easy that even those who have zero experience in the world of internet marketing. As I have tested this method, I already got a total revenue of more than $80 total in a week. Although this amount is small for me, but it’s a great start. It simply means that the method I have tested really worked and gained me instant cash easily. If I could scale this up a bit more, I would have earned a lot of money for this month. This is how I’m relieved to go blogging again because of the method that finally works for me. Not only this is the reason, but also changing the theme and slogan for my blog has brought my energy back once again.

I have ups and downs as of now, but I’m clearly positive that I should continue to live up my dreams as a future super affiliate.

Is It Necessary To Update Our Blogs Daily?

It’s been quite a while since I haven’t updated my own blog because I’m too busy with my projects and even my family business (internet cafe). My topic for today is that if it’s really necessary for all of us to update our blogs every single day?

Do we have to?


There are two purposes why some of the serious bloggers are updating their blogs for good:

1. Traffic – Of course! Every blog needs visitors in order to gain it’s popularity. My friend Daniel Lew already has a great amount of traffic that generates him thousands of visitors and subscribers on his blog. The more you update your blog, the more traffic you will generate as long you know how to do it.

2. Money – Of course! Every blog has to make money through their advertisements or banners (Clickbank, Google Adsense, etc.). This is one purpose that the bloggers need in order to monetize their blogs through the visitors’ ad clicks or even affiliate sales….or even CPA leads!!

So what about this blog?


We’ll, I’m not in a rush you know? I still make good money from my long term client which is something that I could focus on. One of my IM friends say that if one method really works, you must purely focus to that. So I think this method that I perform for my client will be the main focus for me to make money online. As for this blog, I can monetize this anytime I want as long it’s still alive.

Mission: Getting Back To Ezine Articles Platinum Status

Ezine Articles: My Mission To Recover My Platinum Status



One of the missions that I have to accomplish right now is to get back my Ezine Articles account to Platinum status. You know why? A couple of months ago, I hired a cheap writing team who can give me quality articles for my client. In the end, when I try to publish their articles on my Ezine account, most of them were flagged as poor grammar. Since more than 20 of them were having poor grammar, Ezine has decided to downgrade my account which my client was so disappointed about it. I have nothing else to do but to find some replacements for it, until I found Squidoo.

Squidoo? A good Ezine replacement?



I’m not really sure if this is a good replacement since it’s PR is higher than Ezine Articles, that’s what I really think. He totally agreed with that, but when it comes to the next project he doesn’t want Squidoo as my main source of publishing. He wants me to go back to Ezine Articles which I’m not currently a Platinum Author. In order for me to start the next project, I need to do something to restore my Platinum Author status. Currently I am downgraded to Basic Plus author, which needs me to submit 10 more articles to qualify for Platinum Status.

What’s the result now?

Currently I have 4 more submissions left before I qualify to become a Platinum author for Ezine Articles. I’m still working on the remaining articles that were related to SEO, internet marketing, domains and affiliates. It’s been a long time that I haven’t update my blog due to busy schedule once again. This time, I’m on a family business which I’m forced to manage the internet cafe everyday and we only have one regular employee who is not healthy due to high blood. Although my best friend is a temporary employee only, my workout schedule was skipped. But still I work on some internet marketing stuff with my laptop here on the internet cafe, especially in writing articles on Ezine Articles.

Google Panda – Are You Afraid of the Panda?

Google Panda – Are You Really Afraid of It?



A lot of people today are asking a lot of questions about Google Panda. But what exactly is Google Panda, and why are we afraid of it? First and foremost, this is a brand new algorithm from Google which takes down those websites that are having poor content, duplicate or copying it from other sources. It simply means that the websites which has duplicate and copied content from other sources will be slapped by Google, courtesy of the Panda. I really don’t know why they named it as Panda, but I think they like it because of the “Kung Fu Panda”.

We’ll, I really have watched the movie Kung Fu Panda, and it was really funny. He was being trained by his master to become the “Dragon Warrior” and he did saved his town in an unlikely way. I haven’t watched Kung Fu Panda 2 yet, but this week I may try to watch it on the movie theater. The same thing goes to the Panda of Google, which it’s purpose is to perform some Kung Fu skills to punch and kick those websites with duplicate content.

Does Google Panda learns how to do Kung Fu?



We might not see the Google Panda for real, but it does have martial arts skills to take down websites with poor content. The real purpose is that those “copy cats” may realize that their websites are not ranking at all, due to duplicate and copied content. But there’s a catch. If you re-write or spin your articles in a unique way with the use of any article spinner software, you don’t have to worry about the Panda of Google.

As of today, there are lots of websites who are really affected by the Panda. Their SERPS have changed due to it’s brand new Google algorithm, and it’s a challenge for us. For those who are just sticking to building backlinks with duplicate articles and trying to rank well on Google, you should be afraid of that? Once the Panda detects your duplicate content, you won’t get on the top of Google SERPS.

However, if you wanna wish to fight the Google Panda, you need to always have an original and unique content to your blog or website. Original content is always the big winner for our website, not those contents that are fully copied from another source. For example, Ezine Articles only allows original content and perfect English grammar to be placed in their directory. Once they find out that your submitted article was duplicate or having some matched content from other sources, they will simply reject it.

We have to be careful about writing our content not only to Ezine, but also to other article directories and our blogs or websites. In order to make sure that our content was original, we need to check it through Copyscape for free. You may also pay for as low as $10 @ $0.05 per content if you wish to go Copyscape Premium. If you are afraid of Google’s brand new algorithm, you need to take that fear out of your mind. Just focus on the original and unique content, as long you will fight the Google Panda.
