How Would You Feel On Your Very First Affiliate Sale?

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

There were so many affiliates and internet marketers who find themselves hard to make their first affiliate commission. You know why? Being an affiliate marketer is not that easy if you take action (e.g., setting up your WordPress blog, getting traffic from various sources, etc.). Let me tell you something about me as an affiliate marketer. I have struggled since I was a newbie, trying to earn my very first sale. When I finally setup my own blog, I have been thinking of writing product reviews as a test if someone really needs that product. I put up an affiliate link in the images and within the content and I’m getting traffic through forums, Facebook, Twitter and RSS aggregators. After a month when I checked my Clickbank account, I was so surprised that I got my very first sale of $36.50!

How did I feel about my very first affiliate sale?

I feel so God damn happy about it, knowing that my product review in this blog was really worth it. Everybody knows that when they got their very first sale, they always remember the date and may motivate them to do more. In other words, first timers who experienced their very first affiliate sale are jumping for joy and to begin their daydreaming…or in other words as “WOOHOO!”. I have seen this in the Warrior Forum where a thread starter may post about his or her first affiliate sale and the other members will congratulate him or her. For me, it’s really a blessing that affiliate marketing really works. As long you give value and to know what customers need, it’s so sure that a few percentage of the viewers might buy your affiliate product.

Once you got your first sale, don’t back down and keep going for more!

This is God damn true. I know that first sale really makes me feel good, but not yet good enough. Due to my lack of time during my client’s tasks, I only gain few commissions on Clickbank. But I also explored the world of cost-per-action (CPA) and other models to make money online for myself and yet again I have lack of time. Right now I’m experimenting again to make a living with these making money methods (especially of course my main method….the affiliate marketing) which I need to take them into a whole new level. I never back down, I keep going until I see some success with my affiliate, CPA and brokering campaigns.

If you had your very first affiliate sale, how would you feel then?

No Future Plans Yet For Google Adwords

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

When it comes to PPC, it’s kinda tough you know? You are paying them in order to run your campaign and gain traffic…or even possible leads or sales to it. In other words, your traffic is only for a short-term basis and once your credit has expired, you need to deposit your credit card again in order for your campaign to continue running. For now, this is how my future with Google Adwords is still in question.

Why the heck I have no future for Google Adwords yet?

We’ll, since I have been introduced to Google Adwords, I was curious about it. But I see that there are some affiliates who were successful with them, but some of them were slapped and banned by them. I did try Google Adwords once with Youtube (which they have a Google Adwords Overlay ad feature) and it charges me per click. My budget is really limited on that time, which I set to the lowest bid per click. But in return, I only got a few impressions and clicks on my ad and it’s not good enough for me. If I change my bid per click to even higher, it would cost me a lot and my credit card would be left blank very soon. I respect the hell out of them, but when it comes to bid per click, it’s something that I’m not ready about.

What about the other ad networks?

We’ll, I have tried other networks like Adbrite, Bidvertiser, AdClickMedia, Adknowledge but they don’t seem to work well for me. I have done numerous split tests using these networks, but no success whatsoever. To tell you the truth guys, I haven’t tried Facebook ads yet but it’s still very tough to make a decision entering the world of PPC, due to the gig and experiments I have in affiliate and internet marketing. As for the Google Adwords, I really don’t know what the hell I can say but my future is still in question of using your services.

StumbleAds: Better Than Google Adwords?

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

It has been long months since I kept on making some mess with my drawing board, just to come up with an internet marketing experiment. An experiment that will change the way I am today, and can make a living in making money online. One of my experiments is on the PPC (pay-per-click) world, which I already tried few networks. The first network that I started my campaign is no other than Google Adwords.

Google Adwords is indeed very popular, but there are so many things that restrict us from advertising our sites. Google Adwords hates affiliate and CPA, and I don’t know the hell why? I have read about Jonathan Volk’s Facebook Ads Guide on how he failed in his campaign with Google Adwords and was indeed “slapped” by them. He primarily uses Facebook for his affiliate and IM campaigns (in any niche) until now, and he made some success there. But there’s one hidden gem that I haven’t noticed in my whole IM career which I usually bookmark both my sites and my client’s. It’s what we call the StumbleAds.

StumbleAds? What’s that for?

Are you familiar with a popular social bookmark site called StumbleUpon? It is where we bookmark and recommend every website or inner pages that we have to the viewers. Even videos, photos or anything that you want to share can be bookmarked on StumbleUpon. They also have Stumble buttons that can be integrated to your website or blog (especially WordPress) which targeted visitors who has Stumbleupon account will click the Stumble button in order to share it with their friends and visitors (only if they liked your post). In the footer section of StumbleUpon, you can find the StumbleAds link there and it needs you to sign up with a new advertiser account. Your StumbleUpon and StumbleAds account cannot link with each other, so they are totally separated.

Is it really better than Google Adwords?

We’ll if we can compare them, it is going to be a “real” bout. StumbleAds is way more cheaper than Google Adwords. For Google Adwords advertisers, it may cost you a minimum of $0.10 per click that can’t get closer to the 1st page while StumbleAds only cost $0.05 per click. It also creates targeted traffic that is way more targeted than Google Adwords and any other PPC sites, and it supports geographical types of traffic (e.g., US and Chicago traffic only). It is also considered a “hands-off” campaign which there’s no need for you to closely monitor the campaign. Best of all, it gives you a chance that your website will go viral due to telescopic traffic, easy to use and tons of ways to make money with it.

I test it by myself for as little as $5 for 100 clicks and it delivers targeted traffic to my blog, and this hidden gem is truly worth for my future campaigns. To tell you the truth guys, this is quite better than Google Adwords because of it’s cheap price and more targeted visitors. I suggest you try StumbleAds for your online campaigns, and to scale them up a bit. There’s nothing wrong to test your campaigns with StumbleAds, because it’s really potential for all affiliate and internet marketers out there.

Try StumbleAds to start your cheap and targeted campaigns!

My Ultimate Goals For 2011

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

What a way to end the year with a BIG BANG!

2010 been one of the most successful years that I have in my entire money making career as a freelancer and affiliate marketer. I have come a long way since I started my online money making career back in 2008. I have joined a lot of paid-to-click (PTC) sites like Neobux and other rise-and-fall GPT programs that doesn’t make me a living, coz’ I earned an estimated $200 for a one full year. but anyways, I’m a college student on that time which I am given around $10 to $15 allowance per week by my parents. They don’t like what I’m doing and urged me to stop.

But I never give up…..

When a friend of mine shared to me about a freelance forum called Digital Point Forums, it changed my life. From $200 a year, I have earned more than $100 to $200 a month for just doing freelance works. I also met Daniel Lew there for the first time, which he introduced me to his travel site called Exploroo and then his SEO community site called GSEO. Me and Daniel both shared together our ups and downs until what both of us are now considered to have success on our own.

I have learned enough about SEO, affiliate marketing, internet marketing, PPC, CPA and other terms through the forum and outside of it. I’ve also learned a lot on Warrior Forums and became an active member there, just to learn everything about their secrets. I even bought a lot of methods there in order for me to gain some success, until now I haven’t. But I always never give up on such opportunities, even if someone discourages me. One day, I have applied with one of my longest-tenured private clients that I handled and I’m happy with it. I started earning around $100 to $200 a month on him alone, and only a few from short-term clients. After that, I challenged myself to propose a big project for him and he accepted. I have started earning around $500 to $700 a month for the past few months, and starting next year it’s getting bigger than ever. It’s good that I have ended the year with some big bucks on the bank!

Never give up is a great attitude for an internet marketer!

This is why I always believed in myself. No matter if someone discouraged me or to think that my career will not last long, or even forced me to apply for a stupid 8-hour office job, THEY”RE TOTALLY WRONG! I would like to share this to everyone about my ultimate goals for 2011, and I want myself to get better and focused with the job or career that I loved.

Here are my ultimate goals for 2011:

1. Earn at least 5 figures per month (in dollars).
2. Lose weight and start to get fit through proper daily exercise.
3. Limit myself from eating too much food on a daily basis.
4. Start my own small local business (to be determined later).
5. To help some people in our area who truly deserved to become successful in the world of internet.

What about having a girlfriend? Nah! Not ready to enter relationship which career and family are my first priority, but time can tell. It may or may not happen. We’ll, at least I’m happy for myself, my families and friends. 2010 is considered to be a great year for me, and I’m looking forward to expect more in 2011 than what I am today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! WOOHOO!

It’s Back To The Drawing Board Again

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

After all of my effective experiments, it’s time for me to go back to the drawing board once again to come up with another money making formula. I always want to make money with any CPA network that I joined, but the results are not yet good as expected.

So it’s really going back to the drawing board, huh?

Absolutely correct. My goal and mindset is to make decent dollars daily on CPA and affiliate marketing, but now it’s not yet “really” stable. So what I will do now is to draw my unique formula again (with the help of research in Google and the eBooks I’ve purchased) and to come up with my own formula. I have learned a lot for the past few months about affiliate and internet marketing, and it’s time for me to take action with my own investment.

I’m not just sitting here spending long hours of outsourcing huge projects daily, I want to do something new to make even more money without spending too much time. I’m not really in a hurry now, because I want to take my time researching and experimenting as a real internet and affiliate marketer, especially on CPA.

Not in a hurry? Why?

If I’m in a hurry, it will give me some stress you know? But if I try to calm down, it will give me confidence to make money in a matter of time. I’m already satisfied with my monthly income, but it’s not yet good enough to make me feel happier. So I’m not relying on just one source of income, but rather to have multiple sources once and for all!

Wish me luck on my future success guys!

Challenge #1 Update: Getting Frustrated

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

I have began my first challenge days ago about Getting Wild on Conversions, and as of now I’m totally disappointed. Here’s the thing. I have used my freebie landing page on Bidvertiser which I have $20 in free clicks. I have learned that Bidvertiser will only get me low volume of traffic but possibly may give me high ROI. But it ain’t happening on my very first campaign with them.

Here are my stats as of today:

Impressions: 67,620
.
Clicks: 27
.
CPA Conversions: None
.
I am still stuck around $14.80 on Peerfly and I really want to make money with them. What could have gone wrong with my campaign? I did set the right demographics and target country for US people only. The offers that I promote were about mobile phones, laptops and game consoles. My earnings still suck and I’ve tried every strategy that I have to make a good conversions (of course I don’t use classified ads like Craigslist).
.

Never use Craigslist, why?

.
It is against the terms of Peerfly because a lot of people there reading the are not “realistic” by just entering their email on the offer, and of course there’s lot of traffic there. Incentive offers are allowed but I don’t think Peerfly has at least one incentive offer because it sucks a little bit. CPALead does have incentive offers, but the problem was there are many publishers who are getting suspended due to copyright violation or breaking a rule in their TOS. I tried CPALead widget using my arcade game site, but still no conversion in promoting it to forums, game communities, etc.
.
I understand these people really hate CPALead offers, and it will fluctuate soon enough but there are still lots of publishers who are making a decent amount of income with their gateway widget. They earn at least $1,000 a month, and some are earning more than $10,000 already.
.

Now I’m really frustrated!

.
This is totally frustrating for me that I gained no conversion on every experiment I have except “leaving it” with few bucks every 2 weeks at least to a month. Bidvertiser is not worth it, even if I put direct links on Peerfly and CPALead on each campaign. We’ll, I decide to pause my campaigns for now before my $20 credit expires. I still can’t afford myself to start huge campaigns with Facebook ads, Google Adwords and DirectCPV.
.
We’ll, that’s it for now. I guess I need to re-shuffle my puzzle again and start with a new challenge. I’ll update you guys soon about my next challenge.

The Split Test Challenge on Bidvertiser

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

One of the best sources of traffic today is known as pay-per-click, or what we call PPC. It is considered as a paid traffic because you are paying for every visitor that clicks your website on the ad that appears on any publisher ads, and one of them is Bidvertiser. I already know this advertising portal about a couple of years ago, and it looks promising. I joined there as a publisher which my purpose is to make money in my website through their contextual ads. But I didn’t made any success there because I only earn a grand total of more than $4 in over 3 months.

What? Are you kidding me?

I’m not kidding myself. I’m totally serious about getting low rates on Bidvertiser, and I quit there as a publisher. It’s a sad thing that I was disabled by Adsense due to fraud clicks in my advertisement, and I don’t know why. We’ll just as I thought that advertising is something that could monetize my website or any affiliate offer, I started getting interests to become an advertiser for myself. However, I would only choose those who offers a low CPC (cost per click) to my campaigns, and that’s what Bidvertiser provides for us.

Google Adwords is strong, what about Bidvertiser?

We’ll, I agree that Bidvertiser is not that strong as Google Adwords. The volume of traffic is less but the thing is that the CPC is very low and it gives me a good chance to have a positive return of investment (ROI) on my campaigns. Best of all, Bidvertiser gives me $20 in free clicks so that I can start my own campaign. Right now I’m about to split test my campaigns for each CPA (cost per action) offer to see which one performs better. ThereĀ  are no specific demographics here on Bidvertiser except category with subs and location. Bidvertiser also has geo-targeting feature that allows me to display ads only on the selected country I choose. Since my CPA offers are only eligible for US traffic, so I only choose USA as my traffic source. I can bid lower if I want, even if they have suggested rate per click on the country and category I set for my campaign. They also let me bid keywords as many as I want, so I just type more than 30-50 keywords per ad to gain more exposure in traffic and getting a good amount of conversions. Their minimum deposit for each campaign is $5, so since I have $20 on the balance and have two campaigns to test, the total budget daily would be $10. Oh I almost forgot, I need to enter our credit card information first before I start the campaign. It will be used for future deposits on my next campaigns once the $20 in free clicks are finished.

What if my budget has exceeded the limit?

Once it exceeds the limit, Bidvertiser will automatically charge my credit credit card base on the daily budget I set. In order for me to stop charging my credit card, I just need to pause the ad so that I’ll not gonna complain about my credit card balance or statement. My ads are still pending for now, because it takes up to 2 business days for them to approve my ads. Once approved, the split testing begins. It is quite normal for us to do split testing on a new advertising program, because it’s part of our experiment to know which ones are performing better. It is truly common, and there’s nothing wrong to do this anyway. Bidvertiser is very potential for me because their business is running for a long time, until now they are getting stronger than ever. This will be another challenge for me, to see if I did get good conversions on the CPA offers I set for my campaigns. We’ll good luck for me then. If your budget is not yet ready on Google Adwords, then Bidvertiser is for you and it’s totally cheap on CPC rates.
