Is It Necessary To Update Our Blogs Daily?

It’s been quite a while since I haven’t updated my own blog because I’m too busy with my projects and even my family business (internet cafe). My topic for today is that if it’s really necessary for all of us to update our blogs every single day?

Do we have to?


There are two purposes why some of the serious bloggers are updating their blogs for good:

1. Traffic – Of course! Every blog needs visitors in order to gain it’s popularity. My friend Daniel Lew already has a great amount of traffic that generates him thousands of visitors and subscribers on his blog. The more you update your blog, the more traffic you will generate as long you know how to do it.

2. Money – Of course! Every blog has to make money through their advertisements or banners (Clickbank, Google Adsense, etc.). This is one purpose that the bloggers need in order to monetize their blogs through the visitors’ ad clicks or even affiliate sales….or even CPA leads!!

So what about this blog?


We’ll, I’m not in a rush you know? I still make good money from my long term client which is something that I could focus on. One of my IM friends say that if one method really works, you must purely focus to that. So I think this method that I perform for my client will be the main focus for me to make money online. As for this blog, I can monetize this anytime I want as long it’s still alive.

Google Panda – Are You Really Afraid of It?



A lot of people today are asking a lot of questions about Google Panda. But what exactly is Google Panda, and why are we afraid of it? First and foremost, this is a brand new algorithm from Google which takes down those websites that are having poor content, duplicate or copying it from other sources. It simply means that the websites which has duplicate and copied content from other sources will be slapped by Google, courtesy of the Panda. I really don’t know why they named it as Panda, but I think they like it because of the “Kung Fu Panda”.

We’ll, I really have watched the movie Kung Fu Panda, and it was really funny. He was being trained by his master to become the “Dragon Warrior” and he did saved his town in an unlikely way. I haven’t watched Kung Fu Panda 2 yet, but this week I may try to watch it on the movie theater. The same thing goes to the Panda of Google, which it’s purpose is to perform some Kung Fu skills to punch and kick those websites with duplicate content.

Does Google Panda learns how to do Kung Fu?



We might not see the Google Panda for real, but it does have martial arts skills to take down websites with poor content. The real purpose is that those “copy cats” may realize that their websites are not ranking at all, due to duplicate and copied content. But there’s a catch. If you re-write or spin your articles in a unique way with the use of any article spinner software, you don’t have to worry about the Panda of Google.

As of today, there are lots of websites who are really affected by the Panda. Their SERPS have changed due to it’s brand new Google algorithm, and it’s a challenge for us. For those who are just sticking to building backlinks with duplicate articles and trying to rank well on Google, you should be afraid of that? Once the Panda detects your duplicate content, you won’t get on the top of Google SERPS.

However, if you wanna wish to fight the Google Panda, you need to always have an original and unique content to your blog or website. Original content is always the big winner for our website, not those contents that are fully copied from another source. For example, Ezine Articles only allows original content and perfect English grammar to be placed in their directory. Once they find out that your submitted article was duplicate or having some matched content from other sources, they will simply reject it.

We have to be careful about writing our content not only to Ezine, but also to other article directories and our blogs or websites. In order to make sure that our content was original, we need to check it through Copyscape for free. You may also pay for as low as $10 @ $0.05 per content if you wish to go Copyscape Premium. If you are afraid of Google’s brand new algorithm, you need to take that fear out of your mind. Just focus on the original and unique content, as long you will fight the Google Panda.

Life Without IM: Enjoying My Vacation

Hey guys!

It’s been a long time since I haven’t update my blog here. You know why? It’s because I’m on summer vacation, and I’m enjoying myself right now. I’m currently experiencing life without IM, because I need to refresh my mind from all the experiments and hardwork for so many months. I even back out from my client because he wants me to work more, but cheaper rate.

So I quit and enjoy myself today!


I back out because I don’t have time to enjoy myself and my family. Last month, me and my sisters joined our relatives to spend summer vacation at the mountain resort. It’s really cool out there, and it’s perfect for all kinds of families. They have two swimming pools, boating, “Ride of Your Life”, rock climbing, spa, dipping pool, hotels, food court and a lot more.

After we finished our mountain resort vacation, me and my sister went to another sister city called Iloilo. We were invited by our uncle, aunts and cousins to witness the graduation of one of our cousins. She ended up as “cum laude” and a marketing graduate at UP (University of the Philippines) Bernas, Iloilo. I realized that after we have a fine dinner at the dormitory, my sister has friends here. She invited me to join and hang out with them, so I did.

Did I really enjoy hanging out with them?


Of course I did enjoy. You know why? We went to a place called “The Avenue” which was worth it. It’s a place that we can enjoy ourselves during night time. One of my sister’s friends have treated us some coffee shake and chatting with each other. We took some pictures and it’s a moment that I shouldn’t forget.

So when I’ll be back to the IM world?


We’ll, I may be back anytime soon. At least I enjoyed my life here without IM (except checking emails and PM’s) because I truly deserve it. Spending my summer vacation is a key for me to refresh everything, to start over and make new plans to reach my ultimate goal for this year.

What Will You Do Without Money?

Most of us who started in the world of affiliate marketing have no money at all. You know why? Because we are still starting to possibly cross the finish line, and it’s a LOOOOONG way to go! Let me tell you something on my incredible journey to the affiliate marketing world without any money at all, or any start-up costs.

Whoa! Another bedtime story? LOL!


Two years ago when I was in college, my dad only gave me around $10 to $12 per week of allowance (more than $2 a day) and it was pretty low. My parents are not really satisfied of me starting off in making money online, thinking that it was impossible. I have no personal computer or laptop in that time, I only surf through the internet cafe. When I’m taking summer class in order to avoid subject conflicts in the next school year, my dad didn’t give me any allowance anymore because I’m too stubborn and hard-headed. Instead, I just walk through the university everyday and spend little on snacks. Good thing I still have around $15 in the bank and I have withdrawn all of it, and you know what? I’ve taken the risk to spend all of my money in the internet cafe to find some answers for me to have money again.

So what’s the answer?


Freelancing. A friend of mine recommended me to a freelance marketplace called Digital Point Forums, and it opens the door for me. For the first time in my entire life, I earned $37 for a simple forum posting task and even earning $20 for two straight days. Looks like the risk was finally paid off, and I have enough money already to feed myself. My parents were surprised that it is really possible, but they are too concern if I will just leave my studies on the table and not able to graduate. But hell yeah, I did graduate after finishing the last semester in October 2009. As I have finished my college term, I have continued to do any tasks that can make me money until I learned affiliate and internet marketing.

This is where I met Daniel Lew, now one of my best friends in the internet. He is currently the proud owner of Keyword Winner Premium SEO WordPress plugin, internet marketer and SEO specialist. I’ve learned a lot on his blog, and we even chatted with each other on Skype. But I have no money to start for affiliate marketing, but instead I’m learning the free traffic methods which seems to be more powerful than paid traffic. Even though I had money which is good enough to feed myself or pay some of my bills, I really can’t commit to invest money on affiliate marketing. We’ll, I do it the free way!

But what are the free ways to do it without spending any dime at all?

This is what I actually do without spending any money on affiliate marketing, because free traffic is always as powerful and long-term than paid traffic. Although it will take me a long time to get results and conversions, but one day it finally pays off. As of today, I am quite happy of being a freelancer and affiliate marketer at the same time. I do believe that all of us without any money can succeed and never give up in their dreams to make a living online. Just keep on working hard and scale things a bit to achieve your results, and possibly to reach the finish line as the checkered flag waves over and over.

What can we expect from PPC Ian?

Are You Eating While Working On Your Computer?

Eating And Working At The Same Time?


Hell yeah! This was one of my routines when I am working with my clients’ orders and I spend a little and limited time for affiliate and internet marketing to gain commissions for myself. I only got 2 Clickbank sales in my entire career, but both are refunded on separate occasions. Every time that I work and browse on the internet, I use to have the following in my room:

* Biscuits
* Candies
* Chocolate cake
* Water and soda

I usually have them because it will keep me energized while working at night, no matter how tired I am. I am really enjoying myself because I have been an improved guy compared to the past few years. At the same time, I enjoyed myself eating while working on something.

Am I eating too much or what?


I only eat a little, at least to re-energize and charge my own “battery” inside. I really don’t know if my best friend Daniel Lew is also eating while working and market his Keyword Winner plugin. Doesn’t matter, at least this was my own. I’m very happy of what I am right now, even if it’s not really stable. I just keep on fighting till the end, no matter if I’m running out of gas.
